AAU Championships

AAU National Championships will be held in Fort Lauderdale, FL. To be eligible for Nationals, athletes must qualify through a state or regional sanctioned qualifier. NWMA competes at the Minnesota State Championships. Although NWMA does not require that you be a member of the Elite Team for State Championships, if the athlete wishes to continue on to Fort Lauderdale, they MUST be a member of the Elite Team. Many NWMA Elite Team athletes will be in attendance competing for Gold! This is the culminating event for the tournament season and what the athletes train hard for all year long. The days are filled with anticipation, adrenaline, sweat, hometown cheering and comradeship.

Monday June 28:
All 14 year old and older Black Belts
Weigh-in 8AM – 3PM
Tuesday June 29:
5-13 year old Color Belts
Weigh-in 10AM – 2PM
All 14 year old and older Black Belts
Olympic Sparring 9AM – 6PM
Wednesday June 30:
5-13 year old Poom Belts
Weigh-in 10AM – 2PM
5-13 year old Color Belts
Olympic Sparring 9AM – 7PM
Thursday June 31:
5-13 year old Poom Belts
Olympic Sparring 9AM – 6PM
Friday July 1:
All forms competitors 8AM – 6PM
