This Winter’s Black Belt Extravaganza and Awards Banquet is set for February 11th at Minnesota State University Moorhead in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom.  The 1 pm Demostrationand Perfomance will feature students completing a performance as a part of their Black Belt Testing requirements, as well as demonstration competition finals for students and instructors.  Come and enjoy our spectular 2 hour show.

That evening at 7 pm, at the same location, we have our annual Awards Dinner and Dance.  Come and enjoy the night filled with good food, awards presentation, and a fun dance for adults and kids to celebrate another successful year with Northwest Martial Arts!

AAU National Championships will be held in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  To be eligible for Nationals, athletes must qualify through a state or regional sanctioned qualifier.  NWMA competes at the Minnesota State Championships.  Although NWMA does not require that you be a member of the Elite Team for State Championships, if the athlete wishes to continue on to Fort Lauderdale, they MUST be a member of the Elite Team.  Many NWMA Elite Team athletes will be in attendance competing for Gold!  This is the culminating event for the tournament season and what the athletes train hard for all year long.  The days are filled with anticipation, adrenaline, sweat, hometown cheering and comradeship.

5-13 year old Color Belts
Weigh-in 10AM – 2PM
